The Pot-Limit Omaha Book Reviews

"I might not quite call it revolutionary, but I have the advantage of having watched a ton of materials from Vanessa, Emil, Phil and others -- and I would definitely say that it's the best holistic treatment of PLO I've ever seen put to print." -- Entity (DeucesCracked Founder)

"I am a low-stakes 6 max no limit player who actively studies the game in order to improve my winrate and move up to higher stakes. Since buying Slowhabit’s and CTS’ no limit ebook, Let There Be Range, my winrate has substantially increased. The evolution of a poker player can also include learning new games, and Pot Limit Omaha is rapidly growing in popularity.

As a complete novice to PLO, I have found Slowhabit’s book essential for understanding how dramtically different PLO is to NLHE. The book first introduces players to the key criteria of top starting hands yet more importantly includes equity percentages based on hand simulations. As a result, we learn how narrow the equity between certain hands actually is and how a second-best hand can improve on the turn and/or river to become the winner. The author highlights the typical mistakes that players new to PLO often make so that we can avoid making the same errors. Slowhabit thoroughly addresses play on all streets (flop, turn, and river) with clearly explained reasoning for each recommended play and option. Throughout the book, Slowhabit uses hand examples and simulations to illustrate each concept, and the text is concise and easy to understand.

The Pot-Limit Omaha Book: Transitioning from NLHE to PLO is a necessary resource for every aspiring PLO player, beginner and intermediate. The contents comprehensively address every aspect of the game which would be nearly impossible to absorb via poker instruction sites without spending many, many hours watching inconsistently produced videos." -- Blantons from Deuces Cracked

"I play mostly NL and having played very little PLO (probably less than 15k hands lifetime) this book has been great and has gone over things that I never really thought of. This book goes into detail about the differences between NL and PLO and the little adjustments that you have to make when switching from one to the other. I have been looking for a resource to help me with the transition to PLO and I wish I had read this book sooner. I will be playing a lot more PLO in the future to try all the things the book has taught me. I am sure that I am on my way to a successful career in PLO due to this book.

Thanks!” – cbboy from 2+2

"I am currently reading slowhabits -PLO Ebook for the 2nd time and I have come to the realization i have been taking the wrong approach when playing PLO. I dont think i have ever had so many - wow and ahha moments with life as i have had with this book.

His chapter on 3-4 betting is mind blowing ~ no book or training video I have ever seen done the subject justice until NOW. I also find my self reading a chapter and stopping and re-reading it again because the content is pure concentrate with zero filler.” – defineluck from 2+2
