Cleaning House

Cleaning house in this context means taking care of all the annoying small things that I have neglected and hold off on. Such can be looking through the massive pile of mails on my desk again to determine which is worth keeping. Get all my poker tax papers. There are a lot of deduction this year. I can't imagine how many receipts a professional tourney player has.

One concept that can make everyone a lot of people monies yet not a lot of us practice it. Exercise. I wouldn't be suprised if by exercising 10-15 minutes a day, you just increase your ptbb/100 by at least .5. I live next to a park. The main reason why I wanted a house next to a park is so I can run. I noticed whenever I exercise, I win. Whenever I don't, I lose. Perhaps it's the structured life that helps me win. But whatever, all I know is exercising = lots of moneys. So from now on, every morning when I wake up, I'm going to run around the park once. It's not even that big. I think running gets your adrenaline going and give you lots of energy for the day. I know the everyday thing is a little stretch but if my goal is that high, I might get 4 or 5 days per week. I see free moneys already.

I have been learning plo. My 6-max game at the mid-stakes is pretty good. However, being the stubborn kid I am, I decided to one table HU PLO instead even though I don't even play HU NL besides on occasions where I start games. HU would speed up the learning curve. I know one-tabling sounds boring as hell but it's not if you play almost every hand. I tried putting on another table and I instantly got killed. Basically, I'm trying to learn the game as if I'm writing a book. I ask mysef a lot of questions and try to find the answers either through equity calculations or watching PLO vids online. I definitely need a coach so if there's any recommendations, let me know.

I'm going to study for my financial planner exam as well. Actually, I did study right before the WSOP. Then gf dragged me to Vegas with her grandparents before Memorial Weekend so I couldn't take it. I took my studying materials with me and went as far as looking for a testing center in Vegas. It's right next to that big convention center past the Wynn. Yes, I seriously thought I was going to take the test. I haven't touch it since I left for Vegas. I don't even know what I'm going to do with the certificate. I just need to pass the exam and get it out of my mind. It's like you see a hot chick who you don't care for a lot and just want a quickie and go on your way. I'm like that with most things.

If you are in need for a mortgage or refinance guy, let me know. No, it's not me and I don't get commission for it. I'm doing this as a favor to my mortgage guy for helping me last year.

Take care.
