As some of you may have noticed, I recently published a new book. It's not a high theory level book; it is a book that will help low/mid stakes players make money. The suggestions on how to win uncontested pots and bluffing the rivers should pay for the book itself in a few days. There is no magic formula nor theoritic proofs on why my suggestions work; they just do. If someone tell me otherwise, I'm not going to disgree but I won't change my take on the topics either. My suggestions are based from my experience and many students have been successful implementing them.

Selling the ebook creates a funny situation. I have sold a few so I'm pretty happy about that, especially when I'm not well-known like other poker superstars. Most who have read the book tell me it's good and they like it a lot. What I don't get is why they haven't stop by my coaching thread to say the same thing! I have two guesses. Either they were being nice to me or they don't want others to buy the same product. The first hypothesis made me very confused because they initiated the I like it a lot comments, not me. My hope is it's the latter.

A lot of people have AIM and PM me; they are interested but have to wait for future reviews. Do you see a Catch 22 here? I don't mind. The same thing happened when I started coaching. I initially charged a low hourly rate and a month later, I have a waiting list for my coaching program even though I charged a way higher hourly rate. Go figure.

I'm definitely going to update the book because the first edition is never the best. My mom said why do you publish a book when there will be future updates? Does that mean the materials suck? I answered, professors published textbooks and now they are in the 11th edition, how come no one question their quality of work. Like many works, research is being done every year. So when something new appears, update time. In my case, there will be parts where I think it is easy to understand but since I kind of memorized my book, it's hard to know whether or not it is confusing. That's why you should email/AIM/PM me and let me know what part I need to work on. It's for your own benefits and updates are FREE. I do understand why some won't. Because if I address a specific topic, then everyone will know how to counter it; I'll just remain silent and maintain my current edge. Or poker players are lazy haha.

I rarely try to create expectations because if there is no expectation, anything that is accomplished will be well-received. I can't help myself in this particular situation. I'm going to ask one of the poker gods to edit my book. I won't name names so you have to come up with your list of gods and select one. Obviously, the price of the new edition will increase for new buyers. I'd like to think I'm a loyal person so that's my reward for those who gave me a chance in the beginning.
