Vegas TR

I had an awesome time in Vegas.

I arrived at Love City on June 2nd and stayed until July 9th. My housemates were superstars Juice (Supreme20) and Ryan (Sleepy_Hippo) and the trip wouldn't have been as great if I didn't have their company. Some experience are just meant to be shared with others.

We bought a bottle of Jaeger from Costco with the goal of finishing it by the end of the trip. Although it seems trivial to most of you, I am lightweight. I talk a lot of shit but I take two shots and one Corona and I'm out. Out as in I'm drunk. Not out as in quiet/sleepy. I talk more when I'm drunk :-) Unfortunately, we didn't finish it. Our only defense is that it was a HUGE bottle. Next year, we will murder it.

While in Vegas, we play a lot of online pokers and I enjoyed talking poker with other people. I rarely talk shop with anyone so it was really nice and informative to see how other thinks. There were some hilarious conversation, especially about floating and street poker. Juice justifies any move that he does without logic street poker. Needless to say, I gave him a little hate on it but he was a great sport.

Near the end of the trip, my friend Chris (a superstar in the making) and Ryan's friend Morgan (so aloof and down to earth) stayed with us for a while. It was awesome hanging out with them and was pretty eye-opening for me. Besides college, I don't remember seeing that many white people around me. 3!

We ate at some restaurants. The fried calamari at Carnevio at the Palazzo Hotel is to dry for. I don't like calamari that much but that entree was easily the best. The veal was decent. The wine and other entrees were decent.

We ate at CUT also. The steaks were good but it isn't something that you would drool thinking over. I think part of the reason is we had so much appatizers before our steaks so we were really stuffed by the time our steaks came out. I ordered the sampling which were small portions of kobe beef, porterhouse, and some other cut. Frankly, I'm not a frank of kobe beef. It was too buttery. And I know that's the main reason why it's so expensive in the first place but I like mine steak sweet and a good mixture of fat and meat. Like a 20%/80% ratio. The kobe beef was like 50%/50%.

I went to Del Frisco with my SLF and had their 34oz porterhouse. No, I can't eat that much. We shared it. We had other appetizers that were good but I forgot. The steak was great and I definitely like Del Frisco better than CUT.

I didn't go to SW Steakhouse this year but went last year. They had this one kobe beef entree that was delicious and was easily the best I've ever eat. The funny thing is it was cooked medium-well, which I think is the “wrong” way to eat steak. I don't know. It tasted great. The only thing I don't like about that place is I lost CCR there. It was pretty expensive haha.

Nevertheless, I still like the steaks Juice make more. They only rank below that one kobe beef at SW but definitely beat other steaks. My steaks are pretty damn good as well! And they cost way less so that increase my ratings for them! I make the best spaghetti as well since it's catered to my taste buds.

We also went to Naked Fish a couple of times and I have graduated to eating sashimi and nigiri sushi. Although I still enjoy the rolls, they lack the taste and textures of the raw cut. Ryan was watching me eating a piece of raw fish and as I chew, he gave me this funny look. This look turn into an OMG look when there was crunching noise in my mouth!

I didn't get to try Lotus of Siam but I will try it next time. I will remember to take pictures so I look like a tourist. Reports at twoplustwo are mediocre but I think it's because they're white. Maybe my Asian tongue will appreciate it more.

Besides foods, we went out a lot. During a span of 2 weeks (highest peak of our partying), we would wake up at 9pm, eat some random foods, do a few Jaeger bombs, have one Corona and hit up a restaurant, or a bar. Then around 4am, we do the only thing that people do in Vegas at that hours. We hit up the strip clubs, specifically the Rhino. Whenever we leave the rhino, it's a vampire seeing sunlight.

The strip clubs trips were really fun. I had a lot of fun watching friends get pulled back into the VIP area and spend lots of moneys. To your surprise, I didn't spend any for dances. I spend on the drinks and cover but that's about it. I think it's funny to pay girls to dance for me. I mean, I dance better. I actually ended up giving two strippers lap dances on two difference occasions. They definitely enjoyed it. They were very grab happy if you know what I mean.

The worst kind of strippers were the white girls. Don't get me wrong. They are hot. But that's the problem. They think being hot is good enough. So what end up happening is they give you a lap dance and you get horny and want to go to the back. Then they charge you a lot and give you the same lazy ass dance.

I took my SLF to the Rhino so she can get a dance. She was picky so she didn't find any that she likes. Probably because girls were lazy as hell. One girl actually worked it but when we saw her face, she looked like she's 35. Which explains why she had to work so hard.

There are some tips I think that are good for some people. Learn how to say no. The first ones that approach you when you first sit down are the bottom of range. Wait for a better spot. There will be better spots.

White strippers are the worst. The Asian chicks with gigantic fake tits and no English are the best. From my resources (white boys haha), they are worth the money and will let you shoot. They allow nibbling on their nipples as well but I'm not sure if you want that. Who the hell am I kidding. If you staring at double Ds, you're gonna gravitate your mouth toward them anyway. Rub some vodka on them or something.

At the end of the trip, my friends created what is know as the “Tri Special.” What it basically means is I talk to the girl for a while and say no when she asks me to go to VIP room. It doesn't seem that hard to say no but my friends seem to be amazed by this. If you do this, be sure to let them know that you know their time is precious and you don't want a dance. I recall many times when I told them I'm the worst customer because I don't buy dances, they always sit around and ask, you don't like me? Then next thing you know, I'm talking with them for 30+ minutes. Which is bad since they are at work. This one girl asked me to give her a tip. I told her that I will buy her a drink or if a friend of mine likes her, I will buy them a dance but “I don't pay to converse.” None of my friends were staring at her so I don't think she was too happy.

Also, they are strippers. They are paid to provide you a fantasy or for some, a shot. Some people treat them like Goddesses, which is the incorrect mindset in such an environment. They also don't like you and don't want to be your GFs. Maybe the experts will disagree.

I remember having a conversation with this one stripper who my friends thought were really hot. I was too drunk to remember. And apparently, I must've said the phrase, “You're retarded” at least 50 times. She disagreed and thought I was playing hard to get and that I love her. This went on for 45 mins. Good times.

I play two WSOP tourneys. I played the 2k event in the beginning and couldn't flop a pair so I busted pretty quick. I then played some cash game and the same cards greeted me and I decided that that's enough of live play for me until the ME. I played the ME ok but not great near the end. I will write a report soon.

That's about it. Below are pictures with some of the guys I met in Vegas. Chris took them with his camera. I will bring a camera next time so I can take pictures with everyone. I finally get to meet my hero.

Chris and MyJiggaJuice. Juice is not Mexican.

Ryan and Me at the Rio. Yes, that is a hippo costume. Hopefully, we see him on TV. He also won the FTOPS. Superstar obv. The Asian kid with the Johnny Chan smile is me.

Morgan and me at his ME table. He was obviously owning souls. I'm such a fan boy.

Me and Starkey at Rio. His first name is Robbie but I like to call him Starkie. I spelled Stark differently since I don't know which one is correct. Very fun to hang out with!

Finally met my hero haha.

You definitely need to blog more. I enjoy your writing style and the content in this post is great. I'm surprised you don't get more comments! I also read your trip report for the ME on 2+2 and it confirmed how awesome you are.
